If We Were On a Coffee Date: Vol. I

Have you met my amazing sponsor, Chels of Heartnatured? She's such a beautiful soul. I would really love it if you clicked over and checked out her blog! Today, I'm writing a post that is a link up over in her corner - the Coffee Date Linkup.

If we were on a coffee date...
I would tell you that 2016 is going to be MY YEAR. I have so many plans and goals and ideas for this year - I can't even express to you how excited I am. Mine and Justin's goal is to start a business and generate enough income per month that we can stop working in offices and work from home! Traveling is what we want to do most, so this makes total sense for us. We're both graphic designers, I'm a photographer, and he's really good at printed design, so what's stopping us?!

If we were on a coffee date...
I would ask you how your heart has been lately. I truly want to know what's been going on with you and how you've been, all the way to the core of your being. I don't want "fine" answers or "I'm good" - I want real, nitty-gritty truth. So tell me - how have you been?

If we were on a coffee date...
I would say that Diana might actually be getting her sleep schedule down-pat and that it has done WONDERS for our marriage. Being up all night while Justin sleeps and then sleeping all day while Justin's up has been miserable. I'm so thankful that she's finally getting it. We've been praying over her and hoping that she can learn to relax and sleep at NIGHT and not all DAY.

If we were on a coffee date...
I would tell you that I'm obsessed with Say Yes to the Dress lately and that it doesn't matter that my wedding is over - I still pin wedding ideas all day long! Also makeup. I got a $25 gift card to Sephora, which I'm going to spend on an Anastasia Brow Whiz this weekend, that I'm SO EXCITED TO USE. Sephora is like... heaven. In a tiny room. With the angels all tryin' to sell you stuff.

If we were on a coffee date...
I would be drinking something iced. I can't drink hot coffee anymore unless I'm going to be outdoors during the winter. An iced Kaladi Latte it is for me, or an iced caramel macchiatto from Starbucks. What is your drink?

Lastly, if we were on a coffee date...
I would tell you that my right kidney has been hurting pretty badly. I have to take into consideration that my pain tolerance is REALLY high, and that living with pain is NOT normal... because sometimes I forget and get distracted all day and then go to bed and that's when I feel it and I resolve to say something and completely space the next day. I probably have kidney stones, because my mom gets them really bad and we're both terrible at drinking water. It gives me a rockish feeling in my stomach and makes me a little queasy when I just drink water by itself. I always have to have grape juice or apple juice with it.

I loved hanging out with you.
What would you tell me if we were on a coffee date?
