4 Amazing Tools I Use to Run My Virtual Assistant Business

Convertkit

I am obsessed with ConvertKit. I think the reason I would refer you to this instead of Mailchimp is because it has the link trigger function. This means that you can link something and if you activate the trigger, it'll automatically tag the subscriber that clicked on the link, or add them to another sequence (which is a series of prewritten emails), etc. It's AMAZING. I highly recommend it.

ConvertKit allows me to market to potential clients and set up sequences that will do my advertising for me.

Creative Market

If you need fonts, graphics, vector images, icons, patterns, or stock photos, Creative Market is your new bae. (Ew, I won't ever use that word again. Promise.) Because Creative Market requires you to APPLY before you are approved to host a shop there, the offerings tend to be more high quality than say, Etsy, for example. They also offer some AMAZING free things every Monday. It's actually a thing in my Mastermind group on Monday morning to yell about the new freebies and talk about our favorites. We love Creative Market!

I refer my clients to Creative Market when they're looking for fonts or logos if I don't have time to whip one up for them.

Leadpages

Leadpages is perfect for offering your freebies, courses, and coaching sessions on single, optimized landing pages. The neat thing about Leadpages is that the pages are IDEAL for signups due to the testing trials they've been put through. Leadpages uses proven methods for acquiring more leads for you in premade templates so that you don't have to stress about whether or not it's going to convert. They have a TON of templates, and they now have a drag+drop feature, which is my favorite! Whoo! I'm a huge Leadpages supporter. I think most of my clients have it now :)

I use Leadpages to create optimized landing pages to sell my clients' courses, freebies, etc.

Trello

I have to say: I was NOT a Trello fan at first. However, my own VA convinced me to try it again and omg...I've been missing out!! I love it!! You can organize your projects into sections and those sections into boards. You can have one board with all your tasks and another board right next to it that's labeled "Done" and you can drag over tasks as you complete them. It's super easy to use!

I use Trello to organize my own tasks for my clients. You can take a screenshot of Trello, too, and send it to your clients so they know what you're working on. Handy dandy!

What are some tools YOU use for your business? I'd love to know!
